The Fiestas Patronales are celebrated from August 15 to 18. When these dates arrive, Beniarrés transforms, in its streets you can see a bustle of people who have come from outside to spend these days with us. Most are children from the village who live abroad and have come to spend the holidays in their village with their family and friends.
The week before these holidays, it seems that Beniarrés is warming up for its main party. It’s Cultural Week. Every night there is some theater, concerts, folk festival, paella night…
PROGRAMMING HOLIDAYS 2022
THE CITY COUNCIL REPORTS THAT THERE WILL BE A CRANE SERVICE FOR THE REMOVAL OF VEHICLES THAT ARE WRONG PARKED IN THE STREETS WHERE THE EVENTS ARE PERFORMED (“CORDÀ”, DANCES, PROCESSION, “ENTRÁ”…).
Sunday, August 14, THE EVENING.
10:00 am: In front of the Town Hall, as every year, we will have the AQUAJOCS for the children of Beniarrés to start the festivities very cool.
9:00 pm: The Moors of Benicadell, the Warriors of the Cid and the Maseros will delight us with the “ENTRANCE” and at the end, the exciting PREGÓ DE FESTES to give the starting pistol to the 2022 Festival.

Monday, August 15, DAY OF OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION.
08:00: Ringing of church bells for Moors and Christians to give way to DIANA.
11:30 a.m .: The Beniarrés Musical Union will accompany the festivities to Mass.
12:00: EUCHARIST, in honor of the Virgin of the Assumption. Then, GRAN TRACA in the square.
19:00: The “ENTER” of the Moors and Christians.
9:30 pm: PROCESSION and then the CASTLE.
01:00: The Orchestra.
Tuesday, August 16, HOLIDAY IN HONOR OF SANT ROC.
11:30 a.m .: The groomsmen will have to “get up” to go to church with the Musical Union.
12:00: MASS in honor of Sant Roc; then TRACA.
9:00 pm: PROCESSION for the Festers to accompany their Patron; then a big one
¨MASCLETÀ¨, sponsored by the City Council.
12:30 pm: The Orchestra.
05:00: CORDÀ for the grooms…
There is a possibility that the firing of the fireworks castles may change places depending on the alerts of the Generalitat Valenciana.
Wednesday, August 17, FESTIVITY OF THE HOLY CHRIST OF LEMPAR.
11:30 a.m .: The Beniarrés Musical Union will accompany the festivities to Mass.
12:00: MASS in honor of the Holy Christ. Then there will be a spectacular TRACA.
19:00: The Filaes will make us have a good time with their costumes in the RETREAT, at the end there will be a water battle for all those who want to participate.
9:00 pm: PROCESSION and then CASTLE OF FIREWORKS.
01:00: Orchestra.
05:00: ROPE.
Thursday, August 18, FESTIVAL IN HONOR OF OUR LADY OF THE HOLY CAVE.
11:30 am: The Musical Union of Beniarrés will gather the Festers in its streets.
12:00 pm: Our Patroness will preside over the solemn MASS in her honor. At the end, great TRACA and accompaniment of the Festers in their houses.
20:00: Floral OFFERING to the Virgin of the Holy Cave.
9:00 pm: Crowded PROCESSION, with more than 1,000 faithful accompanying our Patron Saint through the streets of the village, the CASTLE OF FIREWORKS in the middle, and emotional ¨FERVORY¨ when arriving at the Church Square. We will end the acts with the Hymn to the Virgin of the Holy Cave.

05:30: The CORDÀ will be the point and end of the Patron Saint’s Day 2022.
