Purpose of the procedure
To call squares for the stay and thermal treatment in the bathing establishments of the Comunitat Valenciana (Cofrentes, Chulilla, Montanejos, Verche, La Vila Vella and Del Cabriel or Fuente Podrida) within the Thermal Program for the year 2010/2011
Interested / Applicants
Those who meet the requirements listed below, which must be fulfilled on the date that the deadline for submitting applications, that is, on 31 March 2010, may be beneficiaries of the Valencian Thermal Program.
Requirements
Persons 65 years of age or older.
Persons over 60 years of age who receive pensions from the Social Security System or Passive Classes (widowhood, retirement, permanent disability, etc.).
Disabled persons over 60 years of age, who, according to the provisions of the Law on Social Integration of the Handicapped, have a disability equal to or greater than 33%.
In the event that these disabled persons referred to in the previous section need the help of a companion, it will be necessary to justify it by presenting a disability certificate with a degree equal to or greater than 65%.
To reside in any of the municipalities that make up the Comunitat Valenciana.
Specify the requested thermal treatments and lack medical contraindication for the reception of them. Accreditation of the need will be made through the presentation of the medical report established for this purpose, or a health report stating whether there is any type of contraindication for the thermal treatment.
To be able to stand on its own for activities of daily living and not to present behavioral disorders that could alter the coexistence of users. The disabled persons referred to in section 4, will go with their accompanying person to help them perform such activities.
The spouses of the applicants may attend, as long as they are over 50 years of age and meet the requirements set out in sections 5, 6 and 7 of this article.
The disabled children of the applicants will also be able to participate, with a certificate of handicap where a grade equal or superior to 33% is recorded, as long as they accompany their parents and, through a social report issued by the services social services, their dependence and the impossibility of remaining in the care of other people are credited.
How much
The Generalitat Valenciana will contribute to the financing of the cost of the places with a maximum contribution of 130 euros per seat to each one of the beneficiaries of the program, paying that amount to the receiving establishment and running at the expense of the rest of the amount.

Deadline for submission
– In order to allocate shifts and places among all applicants, two deadlines are established for the submission of applications:
a) For shifts from April to August 2010, the deadline for submission of applications will be the same from the day following the publication, ie from December 29, 2009 until January 29, 2010.
b) For shifts made from September to December 2010 and from January to April 2011, the deadline for applications will be from February 1 to March 31, 2010, inclusive.
To be included in the waiting list for places to fill vacancies due to resignations or other circumstances, the deadline will end on October 29, 2010.
– Notwithstanding that applicants may submit their request within the deadlines and terms established above, in order to simplify procedures, individual communications will be sent to all applicants who, meeting the requirements of the 2009/2010 call, their records are complete. The deadline for submission of these pre-filled applications will end on January 15, 2010 for both shifts.
